Hold Fast - Signed Limited Edition Giclée
Storm clouds roll overhead, but he isn’t looking at the darkness. His eyes are fixed on the light breaking through and on a brilliant bird soaring above him in a burst of color. Hold Fast is a tribute to hope, imagination, and the dreams that keep us lifting our heads, even in the hardest seasons.
The world around him is painted in deep grays and shadow, with towering clouds and rays of light piercing through. Only a few things carry color: the warm orange of his shirt, a touch of teal, and a bird in blazing pink, turquoise, and gold, with wings spread wide as if calling him upward. Along the bottom runs a line adapted from Langston Hughes’s poem “Dreams”: “Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly.” It’s a celebration of resilience and faith in the future, and a reminder to protect your dreams, because they’re what let you rise.
Available in two editions:
